Creamy raw mock ranch dressing #6
This is my favorite! However everyone’s tastes are different and my mom hates it. So if you aren’t fond of dill it’s probably not for you. You could always leave the dill out and put in some basil or another herb you like. I love creamy dressings and this is a great alternative to the store bought kind and it’s sooo good for you too! I use fresh garlic in everyting, but this recipe works best with the powdered kind. 1 cup soaked cashews 3/4 cup water 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp himalayan salt 1 tsp dried dill blend together until creamy and drench your favorite salad guilt free Yummy!
Breastfeeding the Older Baby
MamaNatural.com I’m a huge extended breastfeeding advocate, and plan on nursing Griffin as long as he wants to. I learned about the proper latch, the appropriate amounts and times to nurse (any and all times!), the best breastfeeding positions, etc. Griff and I sailed through nicely for the first 8 months because, up to that point, he really wasn’t eating a ton of solids. Once he did start incorporating food, he dropped his afternoon feeding. Like any first time mom, I started wondering… “was this OK?” I then started looking for books and online sources to learn more about the process of weaning. I didn’t find much… What I did find was vague and theoretical… I wanted a plan! Unlike the 8-12 feedings in 24 hour period guideline for newborns, all I saw were general statements like “the baby and you will figure it out.” So, I stumbled through the weaning process, and will continue to, by talking to other moms, a lactation consultant and my Bradley teacher. What I’ve learned along the way is trust yourself and trust your baby. The baby will lead the way The weaning process certainly isn’t linear There’s no set plan or program. All we can do is share our experience. We need to talk more about this so that we aren’t alone through. By 13 months, Griffin went down to one nap a day, and dropped another feeding. At this point, he had just three feedings during the day; however he …

She asked us to go to the nearest hospital to do a routine Ultra Sound. On the way over, I was such a nervous wreck. Praying to God to please have everything okay. During the Ultra Sound, the doctor that was performing it. Just looked stunned and finally she announced that our son had past. There on the table, surrounded by William and my son Jared, we all began to cry. On Aug. 4, 2006 @ 2:55pm I gave birth to my beautiful angel boy. Only to have stolen moments before I had to part away from him. Walking out of a maternity ward, empty handed is something that I will never forget. Losing a child, is the hardest thing that I have ever endured and something that I wish no one will ever have to face. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is to promote Support, Education and Awareness for grieving parents nationwide (and worldwide). Too many families grieve in silence, sometimes never coming to terms with their loss.
